Our rental, Ocean Escape is located on a 12 acre plot of land situated on the ocean cliffs of Bodega Bay where the Pacific Ocean and the Estero Americano (a salt water river) come together at the Sonoma-Marin County line. We are part of a larger private 500 acre cattle ranch . Views from the property extend from Pt. Reyes in the south, Tomales Bay, Dillon Beach to Bodega Head in the north.
From our rental you can take a 5-10 minute walk downhill to the private,limited access beach and explore the pristine beach and tide pools, fish, go surfing, or use our canoe or kayaks on the Estero. One bird-watching group of renters listed sighting 15 different bird species. Or you can choose to relax on the large deck or in the hot tub listening to the sounds of the ocean and the barking seals (No traffic or city sounds) and the fog horn.
